My Travel Story

Noel was born a premature baby at only 33 weeks. At only 3 days old his heart beat raced beyond normal at over 200 bmp and suddenly stopped. The medical staff rushed to see what had happened only to find him dead. They called a team of specialists and after 4 attempts, finally brought him back to life. Because of him being born early, his lungs and heart weren't fully developed. And had to be out on special medications to help strengthen them up. The first two years of his life, he had to take the medications literally every 2 hours. When he was 2 his teeth started decaying because of all the medications and had to go under mouth surgery or the decay would start to go into his cranium. Shortly after that, he started developing asthma and had to receive even more medications. Until this very day, he still walks with two inhalers just in case of an emergency. Numerous times, he's had to be rushed to the ER because his oxygen levels drop below 85. A couple of years ago he ask us if he could join a local soccer club and we were a bit hesitant because even the slightest impact to the chest could be devastating to him. We decided to go through with it because he deserved a life of a normal child. To our surprise, the coaches saw potential in him and asked if he could join the travel team. We sat down and decided to go through with it. While in the travel team, he started doing better and better, he was defeating all odds and performing better than we expected. He performed so well, he got invited to even more off-season tournaments and performed even better yet. Earlier this year, there was a training camp hosted by a well known soccer club in Des Moines, Real Madrid. He asked to go to it and we registered him, he performed so well that he actually received an email from the official Real Madrid club and asked to have him join them in Madrid for a youth talent search in the world famous stadium Santiago Bernabéu. This proves that "miracles CAN and DO happen!! 

If anyone finds it in their heart to help out with some of the costs to make this dream a reality, we would be extremely grateful. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and one that millions of kids in the world wish they had. This is truly a miracle and absolutely anything would be of so much help.
