Being a mother is a journey.  Being a daughter is a journey.  

My Mother wasn't raised by her Mother.  Instead, her Grandmother raised her.  My Mother had a very difficult relationship with her Mother  My Father has stories of consoling my Mother for days on end after having to deal with my Grandmother.  
My Grandmother passed on, in her early 90's, in the spring of 2020.  She died in a nursing home where the only way my Mom and her siblings could visit their Mother was through the windows of the nursing home.  
Devastating.

So, although I'm currently unemployed, I feel so compelled to take my Mother to the 2024 Generations conference that CeCe Winans hosts with her Mother and a panel of wonderful female leaders.  
I want to celebrate my Mother, who will soon be in her 80's, - celebrate her now and experience together the Goodness God has in store for us to ensure we maintain a healthy Mother-Daughter-relationship.
