My Travel Story

I've wanted to travel to New York and make clothes since I was ten years old. This ideal has always seemed unattainable to me as a young black child with Zimbabwean parents because of the country's political, social, and economic circumstances. I really believe that if I have the chance to pursue my education in New York, I will be able to inspire other young girls to pursue their goals. I'd like to be the first member of my family to go to school and travel.

I intend to spend a semester or two living and studying in New York. I want to experience new things and leave my mark on the world. I think that we need to create the world that we want.
