My Travel Story

I came to Scotland to visit my boyfriend for Christmas.  I found a ticket at a good price with good travel times and have had an amazing time.

Unfortunately, the first flight on my way home was cancelled, so I missed my other 2 as well.  My booking agency has not gotten back to me after multiple contacts in the past week, meaning no refund from them.  I cannot get a refund from the airline and cannot rebook through them since they go through Ireland and there is currently a travel ban from the UK to Ireland.

Right now we are in total lockdown and I am Zooming to teach.  Flights are extremely limited and prices are soaring.  The cheapest way to travel home (including flights, COVID test required by the states, and gas) is going to cost me just under $1500 which is really difficult for me right now.

I am trying really hard to get home so I can teach when we return to in-person learning.  There's no pressure, but if you can even donate a $1-2 to help me get home I would be so incredibly thankful.

If the booking agency refunds me, I will donate your support to cancer research in honor of my dad.

    Update: I have a COVID test scheduled for tomorrow and a flight scheduled for Monday. As long as these go smoothly and I don't have another cancelation, I'm on my way home.

    I got ahold of my booking agency and received a partial refund. This will cover about half of the cost!!
