Hi everyone!

As many of you know, I have always been interested in the world and its various cultures. 

Throughout my studies I have explored the realm of geography, people groups, culture, and geopolitics.
With these studies and interests I want to take a career path that is within the realm of working abroad and helping those who may need it.
Here I am volunteering for the International Volunteer HQ in Rome, Italy for 2 weeks assisting their Sustainable Farming project. This project is a hands-on volunteer role in which I'd be working on various seasonal tasks such as helping cultivate gardens, taking care of farm animals, running design workshops for children, partaking in urban redevelopment interventions, and much more.

This project also serves as a cultural exchange as I will be working alongside other volunteers, local farmers, refugees, and asylum seekers. I am greatly looking forward to communicating with many people within Italy as I continue to learn more about global cultures!

With this program I am aiming to get experience on volunteer projects in order to partake in future projects of similar nature. One of my goals is to eventually take part in post-war reconstruction of nations that have unfortunately experienced wide spread warfare. 

While this volunteer project is entirely different in nature, the grassroots are still the same with learning cultures abroad and taking part in projects to assist others!

I am asking for support with various fees that were necessary to take part in this project, as this covers the accommodation and other registration fees part of the International Voluntary HQ. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
