My Travel Story

I am extremely passionate about animals and the Conservation and treatment of all animals on our planet. I am extremely interested in the conservation and plight of the orangutans of borneo. During a few years of ill health and being good unable lead to work I absolutely fell in love with these beautiful creatures which inspired me to volunteer at my local mini zoo where I actual met the owner of monkey World who filled me in even more on the sad lives these oranngutans are facing in borrowing due to deforestation for palm oil and rubber plants and the awful animal trade. I now want to go volunteer in nyaru menteng with the orangutans I fell in love with on orangutan jungle school. I've found the perfecr volunteering programme that suits me and means I too can help in their plight. I am annunciation to start university next year to study Conservation and would love to have this experience before I start. I am a type 1 diabetic and want to be able to follow my dream while I can.  I am saving as much as I can to help me achieve this dream and hope that I can get some extra help by fundraising.
