My Travel Story

I am very excited about the opportunity to travel abroud to volunteer in a Youth Support Program for two weeks in Portugual. My volunteer projects will allow me to assist with after-school programs for students from disadvantaged communities. 

As a Youth Support volunteer, I will spend with students after the school day is finished. My goal is to be a positive role model, helping students to think about their futures, inspiring and encouraging them to set and achieve goals for themselves. Some of my duties will be to arrange games and activities, help with homework, arts and crafts and to informally teach English. I may also have an opportunity to work with babies which is something I will absolutely love. In addition to volunteering, I am very excited to meet new, like minded people from all over the world.

I am very excited for this opportunity and I am grateful for any assistance I can get!
