My Travel Story

It had been nearly a year since I had last seen my daughter Hemen She had moved across the country for a job opportunity, and the distance between us had taken a toll.I missed her smile,her laugh,the way she could always brighten my day no matter how difficult things got.

As I sat at my desk, staring at the blank document on my computer screen,I couldn't help but feel a deep longing to be with her.The holidays were approaching, and I knew this would be the perfect time to visit,to reconnect,to hug my little girl again.

But the cost of travel these days was no small expense.I weighed the pros and cons,unsure if I could justify the trip from a financial standpoint.Yet the desire to see Hemen's face,to hear her voice in person rather than over a video call, was overwhelming.

That's when I decided to put pen to paper and plead my case.I wrote about the joy she brought me the cherished memories we had created over the years.I spoke of how this visit would rejuvenate my spirit, how it would provide a much-needed reprieve from the daily grind.Most importantly,I emphasized how critical it was for a parent to be present in their child's life,especially during important milestones.

My heart raced as I hit send, hoping that my words would resonate and that the committee would understand the value of this trip not just for me,but for our relationship because at the end of the day, a daughter's love is the most precious gift of all.
