Intercultural Pediatric Rehabilitation in Europe
My Travel Story
I’ve got some exciting news! I’ve been accepted into a study abroad program in Belgium for two weeks as part of my Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree at Georgia State University. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to dive deeper into my field, learn from Belgium’s incredible healthcare system, and bring that knowledge back to help others here at home.
As many of you know, I’m passionate about working with children and young adults with cognitive disabilities. This trip will not only teach me so much about OT but will also be my very first time leaving North America! It’s both thrilling and nerve-wracking, but I know this experience will shape the way I approach my future career in so many meaningful ways.
I’d love your help in making this dream come true. The program, travel, and accommodations are costly, and any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me. Your support will help me grow as a therapist and allow me to take this huge step toward my goal of making a real difference in people’s lives.
As many know, I am an independent student and am paying for my education and living myself. While I am planning on applying for scholarships and have already applied to some, any donation will help me!
Thank you so much for considering helping me on this journey—it truly means a lot!
