We hope this message finds you in good health. My husband Jason and I are a young newlywed couple from Brooklyn, New York! We jumped the broom Monday August 22, 2022 in front of one witness at Brooklyn Borough Hall. We opted for a tiny courthouse ceremony because we could not afford a traditional wedding. As we approach our one year anniversary, we decided to ask for help pulling off a proper honeymoon. I work as a first grade special education teacher in Brooklyn, New York, and Jason works as an entrepreneur who wants to change the trajectory of many lives in his community. Each day we work diligently to improve the lives of others. This leaves very little time or effort to focus on saving money for a honeymoon. New York City is an expensive place to live.
