Hi friends and family! I appreciate you taking the time to see what I am eager to pursue this Summer of 2018. As most of you know, I am finishing up my first year at ASU within the Nursing and Health Innovation. I have been looking into studying abroad for many reasons including my obvious love for travel, to help build my resume, and for new/exciting experiences. The program is centered around Health Sustainability. This trip benefits me by completing classes out in Melbourne, Brisbane, Port Dougles, Sydney, etc., while earning 6 upper division credits and gaining knowledge of healthcare outside of the country. Only 3% of nurse’s study abroad and this is an amazing opportunity for me. I will also be able to observe and engage within a public health setting in Australia, in addition to snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef and interacting with the new people. The trip is in June and I'd be gone for about a month! I have been awarded a grant for $1000 and hope to receive more! I am hoping to reach my goal by May. Again, I would deeply appreciate any help at all!
