My Travel Story

by: Natalie Fernsten Start Date: May 15, 2025 - End Date: Sep 14, 2025
This summer, I have the incredible opportunity to explore Britain's sacred spaces and literary landmarks through BYU's London Centre program. For seven weeks, I'll journey across England, Scotland, and Wales, visiting ancient Druid sites like Stonehenge, historic cathedrals, and the settings that inspired Shakespeare, Austen, and Wordsworth. This program offers six academic credits, but more importantly, it allows me to experience firsthand the places that shaped some of history's most influential literature and spiritual traditions.

Your support helps make this transformative educational journey possible. Beyond enhancing my academic studies, this experience will deepen my cultural understanding and appreciation for diverse religious heritage. Standing in the landscapes that inspired timeless works and walking through centuries-old sacred spaces will provide insights no classroom could offer. I'm passionate about connecting literature to its historical context, and this program represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring these connections to life. Thank you for considering a contribution to my British adventure!
