Hi, my name is Oscar Tejeda, and I’m on the verge of completing my culinary education at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in New York City. Cooking has always been my passion a way to connect with people, share culture, and create memorable experiences through food.

I have been accepted into the American Pavilion’s Culinary Program at the Cannes Film Festival in Nice, France, from May 8–24, 2026. This prestigious program places young chefs in a fast-paced, international environment where we learn from industry leaders, gain global kitchen experience, and represent our craft on one of the world’s biggest cultural stages.

This opportunity is deeply meaningful for me because:

It’s the next step in my education and career. After graduation, this program will allow me to apply my skills in a world-class setting and learn techniques that I can bring back to my community.
It connects me to the world. Cooking alongside international chefs and serving at Cannes will expose me to new cuisines, ideas, and perspectives.
It allows me to give back. My long-term dream is to build a catering business and community food programs that make fine dining accessible, while inspiring others to chase their culinary passions.

The program fee is $2,500, and the application deadline is December 15, 2025. With your help, I can take this life-changing step and bring everything I learn back to my community, my business, and my future as a chef.

Whether it’s through a donation, sharing this campaign, or sending words of encouragement, your support means the world to me. Thank you for helping me bring this dream to life.
