When my daughter was seven her father pulled a loaded shot gun on her and has been stalking and traumatizing us since getting her away from him. She turned ten this year and asked for a Disney cruise for her birthday. As a single mom who has to keep moving to keep us safe I am not able to provide this for her and my other child but if we were blessed with donations I would be grateful to provide her this small vacation and a bit of joy in so much darkness she has had to endure for nearly half of her young life.
