My Travel Story

This year I have the incredible opportunity to travel abroad and volunteer with children, and I’m so excited to use my time and energy to make a difference in their lives.

Many of the children I’ll be working with come from communities with limited access to resources, education, and support. During my time volunteering, I’ll be helping care for and mentor kids, assist with activities, and simply be someone who shows up for them with kindness, encouragement, and compassion. Sometimes the smallest moments—playing games, helping with learning, or just listening—can mean the world to a child.

This experience is especially meaningful to me because I’m passionate about working with children and pursuing a future in healthcare. Being able to serve kids in another culture will not only allow me to give back, but also help me grow in empathy, cultural understanding, and service so I can better support children and families in my own community as well.

However, volunteering abroad comes with travel and program costs, which is why I’m asking for your support. Any donation—big or small—will go directly toward helping cover expenses such as travel, housing, and program fees so that I can focus on serving the kids who need it most.
