My Travel Story

I am so excited to take part in this program because it includes both study abroad and an internship with a Beijing-based company. The study abroad portion will encompass two, 3-credit courses taught by an ASU faculty member that will help me to earn credits towards my major. I will be taking these courses with other ASU students, and they will be used to discuss and apply the cultural knowledge that we learn while in Beijing to our academic and professional careers. These courses will be taken at night, because during the day I will be participating in an internship at a Chinese-based company! This portion of the program is done with CRCC Asia, who places college students in internship programs in a variety of fields. I have chosen to take part in an internship that primarily focuses on business, PR & Marketing, and/or philanthropy. Because of ASU's partnership with CRCC Asia, I will be staying in a group of small apartments with other students from all over the world. This will give me the opportunity to not only experience the unique culture of Beijing, but also many different cultures at once.
