My Travel Story
Hi everyone! I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Murray State University, and I’ve been accepted into a unique 10-day study abroad program in South Korea this summer! From 21st May, 2025 to 31st May, 2025.
This faculty-led program will take place in Seoul and Daegu and is designed to explore how wellness is defined, assessed, and supported in secondary and post-secondary education across Southeast Asian cultures. As a future TESOL educator, this experience will equip me with a multicultural perspective that is essential for supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive learning environments.
Originally from Ghana, studying in the U.S. has already expanded my horizons and this opportunity to learn in South Korea will deepen my global understanding of education and student support. I’m passionate about creating spaces where students from all backgrounds can thrive, and this program directly aligns with my academic and professional goals.
