My Travel Story

I have chosen to go to Soonchunhyang University in South Korea to be able to experience many new things while I am there. While the thought of being in a different continent for four months is scary, the benefits are evident. Since my professional goals include either working for a government entity or an intercontinental business it is important that I learn networking, and communicative skills. These would include being able to communicate and connect with people from different cultural backgrounds, be familiar with international diplomacy and of course, learn a new culture in a new region. My passion for learning and immersion has not started here, as I already have begun to teach myself Japanese and Korean for no other purpose than to learn. It is with this passion of exploration that motivates me to take this leap into a new world, learn new cultures, and while I am still unsure of my path after commencement, I know these skills will be beneficial to whichever path I travel.

    Most of my fees are covered through financial aid, however, the rest is extra cash I can use to help ease my burden when going to South Korea. Any help is accepted and I will be super grateful for it!
