My Travel Story
In 2025, I volunteered for one month as a math teacher for third- and fourth-grade students and provided English support to eighth graders in a rural village in Nepal. This experience showed me how powerful education can be in building confidence and opening opportunities for students who lack resources. I also volunteered for two weeks at an animal shelter in Nepal, where I learned compassion, responsibility, and the importance of caring for both people and the environment.
I am now seeking the opportunity to volunteer again for three weeks at a school, supporting teachers while also participating in agricultural work. This experience would allow me to contribute in a meaningful and holistic way while continuing to learn from the community.
As a student, I am seeking funds to support this opportunity, as I want to pursue my goals responsibly without placing financial strain on my family. Volunteering is deeply important to me, and I hope to continue using education and service as tools to create positive, lasting impact in the future.
