My Travel Story

Being able to travel to Alaska and volunteer at Camp Weber, formerly known as Camp Abilities Alaska, is an amazing opportunity for me.  This camp is a one week, one-on-one camp that allows individuals with visual impairments to develop skills in sports and confidence in their everyday lives.  
I am a Senior at Old Dominion University with a major in Recreational Therapy and a minor in Special Education.  This camp allows me the opportunity to create a difference in someones life, learn skills that cannot be taught in the classroom, and network.  Thank you so much!
