My Travel Story

by: Adrienn Balazs Start Date: Aug 5, 2016 - End Date: Aug 4, 2017
Good morning or afternoon,
I'm starting my senior year in high school this September so I will be starting college in a year. I'm originally from Hungary but I've been living in France since 2012.
Working with horses have always been my dream as well as living and studying in an English speaking country. France and Hungary don't have any equestrian college programs so if I want a real degree in this field, and I do, then I have to study abroad.
Hopefully, this will allow me to accomplish my biggest dreams
The Equine Courses that this school offers will allow me to grow as a scientist, an equestrian and an invidiual.
My ambition is to work with wild mustangs one day and make them wonderful, calm and friendly horses that can be ridden by children.
I want to learn to communicate with these amazing creatures through their language, a language built in silence. The horses teach us how to be patient, how to speak without  words, it teaches us self-control and how to trust.
These animals and this sport are my biggest passions.
Riding is one of the most difficult sports out there. It takes extreme physical skill, balance, flexibility, trust, a high pain tolerance and real determination. Every time I ride, a whole new world opens up to me. And I want to evolve in this world. I want to reach my full potentail.  The North Highland College of Scotland can help me with this.
