My Travel Story

I am a college student trying to find a way to see the world. Unfortunately, I must enter my career field right out of college, and traveling when I am young is looking harder and harder each day. School costs make traveling even with the school a financial nightmare. I love languages, culture, and learning about others. This is the focus of my studies and what I intend to dedicate much of my life to. Being able to travel to understand and if possible make a positive impact is my ultimate goal. Honestly because my whole interest is in understanding people and creating positive change in the moment and with the experiences I gain, the location of my travel is fluid. I would go anywhere in the world if given the opportunity. For years I have looked into different programs for community service and volunteering, and now for studies, but the financial needs are too great. With funding, I would be able to see the world, the people, communities and understand the cultures and individuals better. Having a global perspective and experiences is so important to being able to begin to understand and help people in many places and situations.
