A Journey of Healing Vietnam Veteran Hamin Dawan
My Travel Story
Dear [Organization/Community/Family /Friends] Members,
We hope this message finds you well. Today, we extend a heartfelt invitation to join us in supporting a distinguished Vietnam veteran, Hamin Dawan, on a momentous journey of remembrance and healing.
About Hamin Dawan:
Hamin, a disabled veteran, served with honor and bravery in Vietnam from November 1967 to November 1968 as part of the Americal Division. His dedicated service exposed him to Agent Orange, resulting in the development of type 2 diabetes and stage 2 kidney disease.
The Mission:
After 57 years, Hamin is seeking to make a poignant return trip to Vietnam. His goal is to revisit the land where he left a piece of himself and to find closure, honoring the comrades who stood by his side. He will be traveling with Interfaith International World Pilgrims. This group consist of Christians Jews and Muslims whose mission is to spread peace around the world.
Our Fundraising Goal:
To make this journey possible, we have set a fundraising goal of $6,000.00. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings Hamin one step closer to realizing his dream.
How You Can Help:
We kindly ask you to open your hearts and wallets to support this noble cause. Your generous donations will not only fulfill a veteran's dream but also serve as a symbol of our collective appreciation for those who have selflessly served our great nation.
Documenting the Journey:
Hamin wishes to document his journey to share with other veterans who are unable to make the trip. By contributing, you become part of making Hamin Dawan's return trip a reality and ensure that his sacrifice and dedication are never forgotten.
Donate Today:
Be a part of Operation Homecoming. Together, we can make a significant impact and show our gratitude to a hero who has given so much. December is the optimum time to donate.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Let's unite in making Hamin Dawan's return journey a symbol of hope, healing, and collective appreciation.
