My Travel Story

Hi everyone! My name is Ambrelle, and I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy for four weeks. This program is a chance for me to grow academically, personally, and professionally in ways that simply aren’t possible at home, but I need a little help getting there. I’m currently a psychology major with a minor in human development, working hard toward my bachelor’s degree. Studying abroad will allow me to experience psychology, culture, and human behavior from a global perspective. Being surrounded by new people, new environments, and new ways of thinking will help me become a better student, a more empathetic professional, and a stronger leader in my field. This trip isn’t just a vacation, it’s an investment into my education and future career in mental health and human services. My long-term goal is to work in the mental-health field and support individuals who struggle with anxiety, grief, trauma, and life challenges, many of which I’ve personally overcome. By becoming more culturally aware and expanding my education, I’ll be able to better serve the people around me. Your support helps me become the kind of professional who lifts others up.
