My Travel Story

I have always wanted to visit South America. However, I had always thought that I would visit the continent on a personal travel basis. When I decide to suspend my studies at university I knew I wanted to do something meaningful with my time away rather than going travelling traditionally.

I have always enjoyed the outdoors, having spent time on various camps around the UK with the scouts, and have an interest in wildlife. This project in Peru seems perfect for me to expand my knowledge of wildlife and perhaps inspire me to pursue a career in something I am truly passionate about, the environment and conservation. 

This project gives me the opportunity to help conserve some truly fascinating animals and widen my world experience. The idea of losing something that makes our planet so interesting seems incredibly sad to me and I hope that going on this expedition myself will be a step towards conserving what makes our world special. However small a difference one person can make I would be proud to play my part in making that difference.  

I am paying the majority of the fee for this trip myself but any donation towards my trip would be extremely appreciated. These donations would go towards covering some of the program fee as I hope to cover the flights, travel insurance, vaccinations and most of the base fee for the trip myself.
