My Travel Story

Please, help me to get the same opportunities as other students.
It took me 4 years to save enough money to finally go to university and study what I love.
My major is Korean studies and, even if I started late compared to my classmates, my passion is really strong. After university, I hope to find a job in a cultural exchange agency between Europe and South Korea in order to help other students like me.
Since I have good marks, my university professors suggested me to apply for the International Exchange Student Program in South Korea next year.
As language students, it is expected for us to participate in student exchange programs. How can we improve our language skills if we don't visit the country where they speak that language?
Unfortunately, the cost for these experiences is always very high and, with Covid-19, even more.
Our university doesn't cover anything, so the 14 days of quarantine is on us as well.
Although I study really hard, even when I get the highest mark on my exams, at the end of the day I won't be able to afford it.
I found a part-time job, but it's not enough. They barely pay me 6 Euros every hour.
I know that probably I'm not the only one in this situation, but for once I thought that maybe being sincere and just asking for some help it won't be a bad idea.
I dream of going to South Korea since I was little, but it was just a faraway dream. But now that I could actually go to study the language for one semester, I can't just let it go. That's why I'm trying any possible option.
