Dear Gifter, 

I am seeking help financing a move to Oregon. I have been offered a job at Umatilla National Forest, in Oregon, USA, as a trail steward for ACE. This job means a lot to me because I have always wanted to work in a National Park setting, or in a natural setting like this, doing work to protect our environment. I look forward to learning and developing skills such as invasive specie mitigation, Leave No Trace principles, and path construction, which is important because it helps keep guests out of remote areas that are protected. My dream is to one day become a guide, or a park ranger for the USFWS, or a similar institution. This is especially meaningful to me, because it is something I have always been passionate about. In the past, I had struggles with addiction, which led to getting DUIs, and this made it very difficult to be considered for something like this. Now, enough time has passed that I have been sober, and without incident, that I can be considered for a role in this program, as sort of my foot-in to a career I am very passionate about. The pay rate for this position is not much, which doesnt matter to me. I am doing this for the experience and passion for this career, and hope it snowballs into a career my family and i can be proud and fulfilled about. Please, help me leave the factory life behind, for it causes damage to my psyche, and help me fully embrace this career. I am creating this to raise money specifically to get new tires for my truck, as well as inner and outer tie rods, which i can replace myself, i just need to afford the parts. This will also afford me gasoline and oil to drive to this park in my 1993 Manual Ford Ranger. It is a day and 10 hours of driving time from where I reside currently, in Ohio. Can you help me make this dream come true? 

P.s. i am trying this as a last resort. I have been scouring temp agencies such as Mancan and Randstad, to try to find temporary work before hand, to no avail. I will depart from Ohio on the 26th, to start orientation in Umatilla, OR, on the 29th. Time is running out, and i am fearful of breaking down just trying to get there.
