Trinidad and Tobago's carnival is the largest carnival in the Caribbean and is said to be the best carnival in the world. The food there is delicious, the people are sweet, and the parties don't stop. I should know, I am a Trinidadian. The cost of going to Trinidad's carnival has risen over the years due to more tourists going during the Ash Wednesday celebration for the freedom of the enslaved. Trinidad is home. I wish I could afford to go there many times a year. Carnival is the happiest time of the year in the happiest place on earth. People meet their best friends and partners in life at carnival, so if I can just get to Trinidad for carnival I'll be happy.
