Hi, I'm Jorden, a dedicated premed student working toward my dream of becoming a doctor. Medical school is competitive, and hands-on experience is essential to standing out. That's why I'm excited to participate in a Children's Physical Therapy, Autism, and Rehabilitation Internship (March 1-8),an opportunity to gain real-world medical experience, make a lasting impact, and expand my global perspective.

How Will This Impact My Education & Career?
This internship will give me hands-on exposure to pediatric therapy, rehabilitation techniques, and autism care experiences that aren't always accessible to premed students. Working closely with professionals in the field will strengthen my medical school applications and give me invaluable skills that will shape my future career in medicine.

How Will I Make a Difference in the Community?
I'll be working directly with children who need specialized therapy and care. By assisting in rehabilitation programs, I'll be supporting their growth, mobility, and overall well-being. My goal is not just to learn but to give back to these children and their families by offering compassion, support, and a helping hand.

Why Am I Passionate About This Project?
I've always wanted to be a doctor, but more than that, I want to be a physician who truly understands patient care. Seeing how medical professionals impact lives, especially children's, fuels my passion. This experience will allow me to connect with patients early on in my journey, reinforcing my commitment to healthcare.
Why Did I Choose This Destination?
This program offers an immersive experience in pediatric therapy and autism rehabilitation, which aligns perfectly with my interest in patient-centered care. Traveling for this internship also means gaining a global perspective on medicine, learning how healthcare systems work outside my community and how cultural differences shape treatment approaches.
