The North-East region of Nigeria, including Taraba and Adamawa states, has been facing conflicts between farmers and herders due to competition over natural resources such as land, water, and crops[1][4]. The resulting displacement of populations and destruction of farms and crops have led to a cost of living crisis, including increased transportation costs and food prices[3]. However, the region is also home to many rural farmers who could benefit from agricultural development programs[2]. By visiting Taraba and Adamawa, you could gain firsthand experience of the challenges faced by the communities and explore ways to make a difference through education or career opportunities. This project is meaningful because it could help you develop a deeper understanding of the issues and contribute to sustainable solutions for the region.

Some notable tourist sites in these regions include:

Taraba State: The Taraba State Cultural Centre, which showcases the rich cultural heritage of the region
.
Adamawa State: The Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola, which offers a unique blend of traditional and modern architecture
.
Taraba State: The Taraba State University, which is a hub of academic and research activities
