My Travel Story

I have never been outside of the united states let alone studied internationally. This experience will definitley reshape my perpsective of the world. I feel I have a lot to offer to the communties I'll be immersed in with my passion for knowledge and social connections.I am very passionate about this project and have already invested so much time and dedication into because I feel it will make me a more well-rounded individual with a broad perspective of different societies around the world. This is pretty much a life changing experience for me because not only to I finally get to travel internationally, but I have the potential of making connections, and network in a foreign environment which is an extremely profound thing. I am currently serving in the United States Army and the places we would go aren't very enjoyable, although I have never deployed. With the current state of the world and the war in Ukraine, traveling abroad in a military operation is not on any of the soldiers in my unit's bucket list, including mine. That already adds another barrier to my opportunity to travel abroad. That is another reason why this experience is very important to me. To sum it all up, this is meaningful because I don't know when I will get this opportunity again.
