My Travel Story

My Name is Esther Ngigi. I Thankyou for taking time to visit my Travelfund  page. My old son Harris is 10 year Grade 4 and my second son Caslen is 8 years Grade 2 and they go to Rafiki school Nairobi, Kenya.

The Challenge

In 2017 , the father of my Children left us when Harris was 3 years and Caslen only 2 years. I did not have a job at that time and therefore i was left with no option but to go back home to live with my mother. My father died in 2014 and my mother who is 79 years old is sickly. she was diagnosied with weakness in legs . She has to make regular visit to hospital for therapy she walks with a walking stick and other diseases that come with old age. She is not very financial able to support me and my two sons daily needs and their education . She can only manage to meet her medical bills. I am the one who take care of her, visits to Doctor and errands that she wants done.

In 2021 after the covid pandemic , i managed to acquire voluntary position at my sons school so that my children can continue with their education. In 2022 the position was no longer available therefore i managed to get a job that does not pay much to meet their school fee and daily basic needs. Since 2022 the years have been tough with introduction of new Taxes in the country . This New Taxes are implemented regulary to the point of the the citizens have protested to the government . It has been world wide News  witnessed how the citizens have protested to thie financial bill 2024. Currently i am so behind with the school fee payment for the past term and current term. I am really looking forward for well wishers to donate for the Education of my sons so that i clear the outstanding debt. I am the sole provider for their daily needs and Education and i am not able meet with earnings that i receive from my current job. My pay can barely take care of their daily basic needs . Am tied to take care of my mother as we cannot afford to pay someone to take care of her as she can not be able to do many things for herself.
