Support My Medical Mission to Cuzco, Peru!
I am thrilled to share an incredible opportunity I have to participate in a medical mission in Cuzco, Peru. This experience will not only allow me to contribute to underserved communities but will also be a pivotal step in my journey to becoming a physician assistant.

How Will This Impact My Education and Career?
As a future physician assistant, I am committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to those who need it most. This mission will give me hands-on experience in global healthcare, deepen my medical knowledge, and improve my ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients. Learning medical Spanish will allow me to better serve my community at home, ensuring that language barriers do not prevent people from receiving quality care.

How Will I Make a Difference in the Community?
In Cuzco, I will be working alongside healthcare professionals to provide medical care to individuals who have limited access to healthcare services. Whether assisting in routine check-ups, educating families on preventive care, or helping with treatments, I will be actively contributing to the well-being of those in need. Beyond direct medical care, I hope to bring compassion and a sense of hope to the people I meet.

Why Am I Passionate About This Project?
Healthcare is a basic human right, yet so many communities around the world struggle to access even the most fundamental medical services. I believe that by contributing my time and skills, I can make a meaningful impact, even if it’s just one patient at a time. This mission also aligns perfectly with my long-term goal of working with underserved populations, both locally and globally.

Why Did I Choose This Destination?
Cuzco is not only a city rich in history and culture but also one where many people face healthcare disparities, especially in rural areas. By volunteering in this region, I hope to better understand the challenges these communities face and learn how I can be part of the solution. Immersing myself in Peruvian culture will also provide me with a broader perspective on how healthcare is perceived and delivered in different parts of the world.
