Hello,
My name is Julie Vicente, and I am Dominican.
I am in my second year of college, studying politics and minoring in Chinese.
I am very excited to plan this trip to Guilin, China, where I will have the opportunity to interact with a new culture and strengthen my Mandarin speaking skills.
I look forward to meeting new people and learning new things!

As a normally shy person, I have decided to step out of my comfort zone and venture into a new place, so this trip has great significance for my growth not only as a professional but as a person.
