My Travel Story

For those who don’t already know, I’ve been granted an AMAZING opportunity to study abroad in London, England! I was selected as 1 of 28 students from the United States to embark on this journey. To say I am excited is an understatement. I will be located in one of the “Big Four Fashion Capitals” in the world to continue my studies in Fashion Business and Entrepreneurship. I will be taking courses to enhance my knowledge in social/digital marketing, fashion buying and selling, advertisement, merchandising, and small business studies. Studying at the London Met from January to May will give me opportunities like no other! I look forward to growth in myself and my passions. I cannot wait for the chance to network, and pursue my dreams in a way like never before


Prior to being officially accepted, I began planning and preparing for the potential of travel. I shared my time between two places of employment this summer and have managed to juggle school, sorority, and a part time job this semester to help supply myself with the proper means of funding. The cost of studying abroad can be intimidating, however the opportunity to expand my knowledge of culture and gain first hand experience within my industry of choice, is priceless! We have been encouraged to create our own platform and fundraise as a way to allow friends and family to be a part of our journey. I look forward to sharing my experience with all of you!
