I’m writing today in the belief that we stand strongly for the sanctity of human life and would be eager to save a vulnerable preborn baby.

If I’m right about you and I pray I am — I also believe you’re deeply concerned about doing everything we possibly can to ensure every woman facing an unplanned pregnancy has the chance to choose life for her preborn baby.

To do that, we must reach her first, before she can visit an abortion clinic.

Did you know that a woman considering abortion is much more likely to choose life if she is given the chance to see an ultrasound image of her child?

That’s how it was for 19-year-old Kayla. Six weeks pregnant, abandoned by the father, and pressured by her mother to have an abortion. Kayla was confused, frightened, and felt alone.

Believing she should have an abortion, Kayla and her mom came to a local pregnancy medical center and asked for an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy. But when the scan showed Kayla was not six weeks along but 12 weeks, her mom walked out of the exam room in stunned silence.

Then came a miracle . . .

A few minutes later, she walked back into the room, looked at the ultrasound scan again and pronounced, “That is my grand-baby. And we will not be having an abortion.” In an instant, all of Kayla’s tears and anguish turned into joy!
