My Travel Story

What does North Korea actually look like? It all started when we asked each other this question on a dinner table. Is it really how the U.S media portrays it? Or is the Russian media the right one? How about South Korea? All these thoughts came to mind. Everyday we are fed by biased media driving our perception of the world, that oftentimes might be exaggerated or untrue. We dream of seeing the world with unbiased eyes and in order to do that we need to use our own eyes. That is how we come up with the plan to go to North Korea. We are planning to spend 7 nights through an organised tour that costs 1,395 Euros per person. Since we are both from different countries, we are planning to travel from Portugal and Denmark to Beijing which will approximately cost 1,505 Euros round trip for both of us. Other than that, we need to fulfill other expenses that will approximately cost around 100 Euros. This will bring us to a total of 3000 Euros.
North Korea, unlike other countries, their flaws are often more highlighted, but is there a good thing in North Korea deserving of discovery? We are aiming to see the beauty that is hidden in the country and how the country actually is. We do although understand the way the tours are being conducted, but nothing can truly be sealed. So what is North Korea and why is it so mysterious? If you have the same thought while thinking about North Korea then help us  realise this dream that might sound a bit ridiculous but is very close to our heart. 

Our goal is to travel around North Korea and see the places. We will try to film some things and also we will write about the trip as a way to give back to you.
