I'll be back, OUTback! Send me down under!
My Travel Story
To me, it is one of the most raw, untouched and puzzlingly beautiful places on earth. I've seen places, beings and things I would'nt have believed otherwise, and it has enriched and determined my life to this day. And it's a big plus they speak english there, to be honest :)
I had made plans to go there again in October 2020, but...well, we all know how that one turned out.
I hate to point fingers, but it is a fact that the pandemic and successive crises have now left me without job, funds, and worst of all: perspective.
Thanks to friends and family, I manage everyday life while looking for ways out of my predicament. I'm selling a lot of stuff and do the occasional errand, apply for jobs etc.
However, it's quite clear I'm nowhere near getting the cash for my dream to come true anytime soon.
That's why I've decided to ask for the kindness of strangers. It is a stretch, and it's a lot to ask for. But at this point, it's all I can do: ask.
The plan is to go there again for about 4 weeks in October 2023, finish what was once started by driving up the Stuart Highway north of Alice Springs to Darwin and then fly to the west coast to travel there (did most of the east coast in 2014). If there's interest in documentation, I'll gladly do so!
Will you help?
And if so, please leave some sort of contact information, I would like to at least thank you personally!
Have a good day, a better year and the best of times. Always!
