Bogota's vibrant cultural scene, from the historic La Candelaria district and the world-renowned Gold Museum to its impressive street art. Visitors can also experience stunning mountain views from Monserrate, explore unique markets like the Paloquemao Fruit Market, and enjoy the city's natural beauty in parks and at nearby waterfalls. The capital is also a hub for art, with institutions like the Botero Museum showcasing famous Colombian artists.  Historic heart: Explore the colonial architecture and historic plazas in La Candelaria, including the Plaza de Bolívar which features important landmarks like the Primacial Cathedral.
World-class museums: Visit the Gold Museum to see one of the world's largest pre-Hispanic gold collections, and the Botero Museum to view the works of famous Colombian artist Fernando Botero. The National Museum of Colombia is also a must-see for its historical artifacts.
Vibrant street art: Admire the city's famous street art, which transforms high-rise and tunnel walls into colorful canvases, with many of the best murals located in La Candelaria.  See panoramic views from Monserrate: Take a cable car or funicular up this mountain for a breathtaking panorama of the sprawling city and the Andes mountains. A 17th-century church and biblical sculptures are also at the summit.
Hike the Eastern Cloud Forest: For a relaxing and active escape from the city, hike the peaceful trails in the quiet cloud forest on the eastern edge of Bogotá.
Bike the Ciclovía: On Sundays and holidays, over 120 kilometers of city roads are closed to cars, allowing cyclists, joggers, and skaters to take over the streets.
Relax in urban parks: The city has many green spaces, such as Simón Bolívar Park, where you can relax or enjoy nature.
