For my husband travel has always been a really important part of his life. Growing up with a father in the military he spent time in Germany and then as a Marine himself lived in Japan. For the past 20 years he's lived in the UK and we've travelled where we can. Sadly the past few years we've found particularly difficult. We were lucky to have our little boy in 2018 but then the following few years between Covid and bereavements have been tough. We're now living in a cost of living crisis and work has been challenging for my spouse. 

ALL this has meant we haven't been over the see family and friends in the USA for 7 years!! This also means most of the family have not yet met our boy who is starting school this year.

We are fundraising to make it possible for us to see family in the USA travelling from Deleware to Georgia (and if we raise enough a side trip to Kansas)

Family is so important to me and i want our boy to have the opportunity to spend time with them. (Ideally every year but I'll take at all at this point!)
