My Travel Story
Hello, I'm Nethsara, currently working as a chemist at the Birmingham City Research Lab while pursuing computational chemistry. I found myself leading the Coding Group for the chemical model research team. Initially hesitant about my leadership abilities, I dedicated substantial time and effort to developing our research for presentation. It's a source of immense pride that our work has been accepted for presentation at this year's Association for STEM Conference, a milestone for our group after years of absence from this platform.
The conference, slated for this July in New York, USA, promises an enriching experience among peers and professionals. However, the excitement of attending is tempered by the financial strain it poses. The funding allocated by the school falls short of covering even the airfare, and our lab's resources are stretched thin with numerous researchers planning to attend.
