My Travel Story

This travel abroad for my education has been a goal of mine since I was a young girl, and when I got accepted in May, I took time to really think it through and decided to go for it. I was in the process of getting everything all figured out for my plane ticket in July when the bank fraud happened and caused a major rift in my plan. These funds would not only help me further get to Ireland to finish my degree and fulfill that overall goal I've had, but it will also allow me to further reach for my ultimate goal of opening up a bookstore/cafe where new up and coming authors(like I plan to be) will be able to read their newest books. Where people young and old can enjoy literature of every genre and have a nice cuppa or quite possibly even a pint or two. I'm passionate about going to school at University College Dublin because it's been up and coming since COVID hit in 2019. I have a go big or go home mentatlity after losing my mom, and my dad walked out that I refuse to be like them and not go after what I want. To not let fear get in my way.  These funds will help me continue to be the person I've always been meant to be, but took me a long journey to get to this answer. Getting accepted and getting this close to going is meaningful for me because I worked to get here, I put in the work at other schools, I made it a goal to get in to get my grade point average back to a place where it needed to be to study abroad and I did it on my own. I put money away, however now can't touch it for another 6 months. Any help from funds would help me continue on this journey of becoming the best version of myself. I'm not one to ask for help, but this means too much to me to not ask, and to not reach out and say, please help me fulfill my young girl dream, and show those in my life that have told me I'm a screw up and won't succeed that I can and will. I haven't made a blog yet, but am in the process of doing that as well.
