My Travel Story

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are doing well! I cannot believe that just a few days ago I finished my last day of school to receive my Associates degree! I will be transferring to a university in the fall to do 2 more years of school to finish my bachelors degree, but in the meantime the Lord has truly blessed me with the gift of time. I have no overwhelming obligations for the next 8 months and the Lord has put it on my heart to serve Him by going on a missions trip. I have seen the Lord work in some truly beautiful ways in the last couple months, and I am excited for this next opportunity and the adventures coming up next year. 

In February 2020 I will be leaving on a 6 week mission trip! I will be taking 3 weeks to serve in South Africa near Cape Town. Throughout this time I will be serving in surfing and childcare ministry where I will be sharing the love, hope and joy of Jesus with orphaned and less privileged children. After serving in South Africa I will be heading to Israel for 3 weeks as well. I have 2 different opportunities to serve the Lord in Israel that I am so excited about. I am so excited for what God will do in my heart and in the lives of everyone I will be meeting! I know that the Lord can do some pretty amazing things in and through me, and I am so excited and ready to start this journey and to experience God more deeply. 

This next step that I am taking in my journey with God is not easy. The preparation in itself is taking a lot of hard work and determination. As I set out to do what the Lord is asking of me in this next season, I need help. I am hoping for a group of people that could prayerfully support my next step. I do also need financial support. I believe that God wants to bring His impact and beauty to South Africa and to Israel as He has asked for my story to collide with His in these places. 

Support from you can come through financial giving. My fundraising goal is $4,000 which will cover the cost of transportation, food, housing, and about ¼ of it goes directly to the organization I will be working alongside with in South Africa. If this is something you are able to help me with would you prayerfully consider financially supporting me in any way you can? Any amount that you feel led to donate will absolutely help! I have been saving my hard earned money for years so do something worthwhile with it (and I have finally found a worthy cause!) but it just isn't enough; I need support from my friends and family. I am so thankful and excited for your consideration in participating in my journey! I am extremely excited for this new adventure!
