My Travel Story

For those of you who know me, you know that the travel bug bit me at a young age. For those of you who don't know me, I'll tell you a story. When I was 15 years old, I signed up and raised money to participate in a mission trip to Ambato, Ecuador to build a school. At first, I had my doubts about the program, but upon my return, I told everyone I met that I was hooked. For the next two years, I participated in the same program, traveling to the Dominican Republic and Panama. It has now been more than two years since I returned from Panama and I have been aching to travel again since I stepped foot on US soil. This is my chance. 

I am now in my second year of college and the travel bug is climbing up my spine once again. This time, it is urging me to participate in a study abroad program for five weeks to Peru. I will be attending the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola satellite campus in Cusco, Peru and I will be taking classes in the indigenous language, Spanish, and English. This is my chance to expand my horizons and step out of my comfort zone once again.  With your help, I can make this dream a reality and with your contribution, I will be able to have the experience of a lifetime.
