My Travel Story

I am a third-year college student at the University of California Berkeley. Having the opportunity to study abroad in Australia next summer (2019) will give me a totally new experience in a new environment. I will be able to develop a better global understanding of another country which I think will ultimately better me in my career in business.

Studying abroad is an opportunity not everyone gets... Largely due to financial costs. This is an expensive experience, however, I believe that the value outweighs the cost. I believe that this trip will benefit me in so many ways and it's my job to work hard to make it happen. I am choosing to go to Australia because they offer internship opportunities with large Australian companies which will not only give me better insight into running a business, but also insight into what it's like to run a business in another country. This will be a unique experience that I can bring into my future workplace.

I want to have the opportunity to grow myself as a person, a student, and a businesswoman. Any contribution to my dream of studying abroad will be greatly appreciated. I plan to immerse myself in a different country and culture for two months to learn all that I can about another part of the world outside my own. Thank you.
