For many years, the dream of becoming a mother has eluded me, leaving an emptiness that clouds my every moment. The joy of completing simple tasks, like finishing my driving lessons, seems distant, and the relationship I'm in brings more heartache than happiness. The fear of judgment has driven me to avoid the company of others, even those who care about me, as their success and family lives magnify the void in my own.
I'm sharing this not for pity, but in the hope that honesty will be the first step towards healing. In the midst of this darkness, there's a flicker of hope - my dear grandmother, the woman who raised me, is my pillar of strength. Caring for her is the one tether that keeps me connected to life.
Life wasn't always like this. Despite enduring hardships, including abuse from my ex-husband, I once found solace in travel. Exploring new places and experiencing different cultures brought me immense joy. However, circumstances took a turn, and now I find myself unable to afford the very thing that used to breathe life into my soul.
