My Travel Story

I am part of the International Studies program along with students from Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf. This club gives me the opportunity to immerse myself in different cultures and gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence I need to be a well-rounded citizen. We will be traveling with Hands-On Travel (HOT), this travel agency is Deaf owned, internationally based, a travel agency with over sixteen years of experience touring educational international studies groups. They employ Deaf tour guides with a wealth of experience. With connections to local Deaf schools and working Deaf professionals, this experience will help broaden my horizons and world views. The tour will be led in American Sign Language, giving me direct access to content and exposure to language, history, politics, culinary endeavors, and international travel.
