This little girl is my 8 year old granddaughter she is my world and she has to go every six month to Children's Mercy Hospital for her Asthma and allergies  checkups, which is a six hour drive for me to take her. I got custody of her when she was 3 months old and for the last 5 years it has been just her and I. I have a full time job as a Paraprofessional at her school and love it but we get paid monthly and with Christmas last month my paycheck was 2 weeks that didn't even cover my bills. I dislike asking for help but I need to get her to her appointment. Since her last appointment she has had Covid and 
pneumonia, so she really needs to go to be checked by her doctor there. She has struggled so bad with her asthma and has been hospitalized a few times but she is a fighter for sure. 
What I am asking for is help to get us there and back. Like gas, hotel, food and maybe something fun to do while we are there. She has been going to her specialist their for 4 years and this is this fist time I have needed help. I have a reliable car but my  check engine light is on and I have had 2 mechanics tell me that the part and labor would around $1,000 to fix. I think it will get us there and back with out fixing right away, but would love to have it fixed since it just her and I that travel that far and don't want to get stranded. If anyone could help at least get us to her appointment I would greatly appreciate it. God Bless you all and thank you.
