Study/Degree Abroad

My goal is to enhance my linguistic ability and increase my cultural expertise of Russia and the surrounding countries where Russian is the Lingua Franca. My ultimate goal is to teach english in Eastern Europe. Spending a semester studying abroad in 2018 will set me ahead of my professional peers and make me the most competitive on the job market. After I return from studying abroad I'll be in the best position to contribute to bridging the growing cultural and political divide between Americans and Russians.
