My Travel Story

Hi, I'm Laura and I have a MSc in Physics, and I'll be starting my PhD study later this year. I have always wanted to visit Alaska, since the whole US and particulary the Alaskan culture, nature and people are quite unimaginable for a European. It would be my greatest pleasure to be able to accomplish this "travel goal" I've set quite some time ago, but due to the very low-paid job as a young researcher and lack of time while being a student, I still haven't made a progress towards making it happen. So I've decided it would be an appropriate time to celebrate my accomplishments so far and clear my mind, relax and travel for a few weeks before pursuing a PhD degree. Unfortunately, the costs of living are already so high that with the rent, food and other costs, I have so little money to spare that without your help I don't think I'd be able to travel to such an expensive location. I would greatly appreciate any money donated for my travel expenses if of course you're able to provide some.
